FormiProtein with Scoop - 3 in 1 Ant Protein Powder

Method 1 - Paste for feeding dishes (semi-solid food):
Place the desired amount of formiProtein powder on a feeding dish. Using a dropper, hydrate the powder one drop at a time with room temp water until it forms a paste. Aim for a consistency that is as liquid as possible without being runny. Remove any uneaten portions between 24-48 hours after mixing or when the mixture dries out.
Method 2 - Runny for liquid feeders:
Add one level scoop of formiProtein powder to 5ml of lukewarm water using the provided measuring scoop. Mix well by shaking or stirring, and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Shake again before serving. Remove any uneaten portions between 24-48 hours after mixing. This method delivers the protein in a diluted form, ideal for larger colonies.
Ideal mixing ration: 1/4 teaspoon (one scoop) per 5mL lukewarm water.
Method 3 - Jelly Cosistency for dishes and trays.Mix FormiProtein powder with hot water (70°C+ or near boiling) using a 1/2 teaspoon to 5ml water ratio - use more powder for firmer consistency if desired. Mix directly in or pour into a mold or heat-safe container while still warm, then allow to cool to room temperature or place in fridge to set into a semi-solid jelly texture.
Once set, scoop desired portions to serve on feeding dishes. Keep refrigerated for later use to prolong shelf life. Perfect for small colonies as it prevents drowning and creates less mess compared to runny liquids. Remove served or uneaten portions between 24-48 hours.

When using FormiProtein in liquid form with a feeder, it is recommended to use a feeder that provides direct access to the liquid.From our product line, the following feeders are suitable as they have no metal screen: Nano Tower Feeder - Plastic Screen, Tower Feeder - Plastic Screen, and Liquid Feeder - Moat Style. These feeders will allow the small solids to pass through without any issues.
However, the Tower Feeder - Metal Mesh may not be the best choice for FormiProtein in liquid form, as the metal screen's tiny pores may quickly become clogged with small solids.
It's important to note that liquid feeder servings are best suited for larger colonies.
