The red film protects the ants from low-intensity, full-spectrum light and is an excellent way to observe them without disturbing them too much.
 
The array box can also work as a display rack or holder for test tubes. It is not as strong as our plastic "display rack" or "test tube rack," but it is convenient and easy to set up.
 
We use these red boxes for our products like the "Test Tube Array Formicarium" and our "Customizable inserts with test tube," we have the option to fit 1, 2, 3, or 4 test tubes at a time for the most commonly found test tubes sizes (see list below).
 
It is manufactured with high light transmission material with a thickness of 0.35 mm. The film covers 80% of the length of the test tube. 
 
Ships with protective film on both sides require some assembly (folding). However, no tools or glue are needed.
